Scotty Maurice Pippen Sr. is also known as Scottie Pippen is an American former professional basketball athlete. He was born on September 25 in 1965. He played for the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 17 seasons, winning six NBA championships with his team the Chicago Bulls. Pippen is widely regarded as to be one of the top small forwards ever. He played an important role in the transformation of the Bulls into a championship squad and in the popularization of the NBA during the 1990s. He was a seven-time NBA All-Star, and the NBA All-Star Game MVP for 1994. He was recognized as among the 50 greatest Players in NBA History during the 1996-97 season, and is one of four players to have his jersey retired by the Chicago Bulls (the others being Jerry Sloan, Bob Love, and Jordan). He was an integral part of the Chicago Bulls Championship and the 1996 Chicago Bulls Championship teams and was selected as two of the most outstanding 10 teams.
