Anthony Anderson (born August 15 1970) is an American actor and game show host. He is well-known for his lead roles in drama series like Marlin Boulet in K-Ville, and as NYPD Detective Kevin Bernard on the NBC crime drama Law & Order and comedy sitcom TV series Guys with Kids as well as playing lead characters in comedy shows like Andre 'Dre' Johnson on the Black-ish series. He was a major role in several feature films, including Me, Myself & Irene (2000), Kangaroo Jack (2003), Agent Cody Banks 2 Destination London (2004), Transformers (2007), Scream 4 (2011) and The Departed (2006). Anderson also has a role on the Food Network's Iron Chef America. Anderson also plays roles on other TV programs such as All About the Andersons, The Bernie Mac Show, The Shield, and The Shield. He has served as host of the ABC version of To Tell the Truth since June 2016. In addition, he's participated as guest panelist for several game shows.
