 American actor and comedian Kym Whitley is an estimated net worth of $3.5 million. Kym Whitley is well-known for her appearances on sitcoms such as "Animal Practice," "The Parkers," The Boondocks," and "Black Dynamite,"" as well as others.Whitley was born on the 21st July 1961, in Shaker Heights, Ohio to parents Kaysonia and William Whitley. She spent a portion of her childhood living in Khartoum (Sudan) and grew up alongside her older brothers Kyle, Kyle, and Scott. Her father was an architect, and one of the founding partners of the architectural firm for blacks, Whitley and Whitley. The firm was involved with working on buildings like the Tower City Center, the Cleveland Public Library, and the home to the Cleveland Indians - Progressive Field.After college, Whitley moved to California and began her career as an educator in Compton until she got an assistant position at Arsenio Hall. Also, she was a dancer on "Soul Train." Her first big break in 1989 when she was cast in Shelly Garrett's play "Beauty Shop" that premiered in Los Angeles and traveled throughout the United States.
