Philip John Clapp, born on the 11th of March 1971, is a household name as Johnny Knoxville. He is an American professional stunt performer, wrestlerand actor. He is best known as the co-creator and lead actor of the MTV reality stunt show Jackass which ran for three seasons between 2000 and 2001. In the year following, Knoxville and his co-stars returned for the initial installment in the Jackass film series, with a second and third installment that were made available in 2006 and 2010 and 2010 respectively. Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (2013) the first installment in the series that had a storyline which featured him as his Jackass character Irving Zisman. Jackass Forever came out in 2022. Jackass 4.5 (2022), is thought to be the final installment of the Jackass series. Knoxville has had acting roles in movies like Men in Black II (2002), A Dirty Shame and Walking Tall (both 2004), The Dukes of Hazzard, The Ringer, and a cameo role as a sleazy corporate president of a skateboard company in Lords of Dogtown (all 2005), The Last Stand (2013), Skiptrace (2016) as well as the TV show Reboot (2022). He also voiced the role of Leonardo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014).
