Hilary Erhard Duff (born September 28th, 1987) is an American performer and actress. Numerous awards have been presented to her such as seven Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards as well as four Teen Choice Awards, and two Young Artist Awards. When she was a teenager, she began acting. She was quickly labelled an 'inspiration' for teens. Then, she appeared in independent films as a variety of adult-themed characters. These included War, Inc. (2008), According to Greta (2009), The Haunting of Sharon Tate (2017), which was inspired by the Tate-LaBianca crime. Duff was the lead character on Kelsey Peters, TV Land's longest-running show Younger. She received two People's Choice Awards nominations for the role. She is the producer and star of How I Met Your Father, Sophie, as of 2022.
