Gwen Renee Stefani (/st@'fa:ni/; born October 3, 1969) is an American singer, songwriter as well as a fashion designer, and actress. She is the co-founder, lead vocalist, and the primary songwriter of the group No Doubt which's singles include "Just a Girl", "Spiderwebs", and "Don't Speak" which is from their 1995 debut studio album Tragic Kingdom, as well as "Hey Baby" and "It's My Life" from their subsequent albums.During the break, Stefani embarked on a solo career in 2004 with the release of her debut album, a studio album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. The album was inspired by the pop of the 1980s and was a critical and commercial success. It spawned six singles, including "What You Waiting For? ", "Rich Girl"," "Hollaback Girl",and "Cool". "Hollaback Girl" was the first exclusive US download to hit 1 million copies, climbed to the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100 charts. Stefani released her second studio album in 2006.
