Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, best famous for her role in Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. In the 80s the actress began her acting career. She became popular with the role of Tezaab in which she appeared alongside the veteran actor Anil Kapooor. Her subsequent appearance on the screen was in Dil alongside Aamir. In Mumbai her home, she grew up by middle class parents. As a child, she began to learn about age, she started to learn dance. At the age of 16, she began acting and was a victim for a few years because most of her first films were failures. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and then was one of the top actresses in the Indian film industry. After marriage, she experienced an absence from the industry before returning to the industry. Dixit played an important role on Gulaab Gang, a film that explores the struggles of women in India. Dixit has been nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Padma Shri - the fourth highest civilian honor in India - was given to Dixit. The award was also given to her by the field of social work.
