Summer Bishil

 Summer Yasmine Bishil (born July 17 1988) is an American actress from the United States. Her first big break came when she was starring as Jasira in 2007's film Towelhead, for which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. She had a few roles in TV series and films like The Last Airbender (2010), 90210 (2011) and Lucky 7 (2013). From 2015 until 2020, she starred in the Syfy the fantasy drama The Magicians as Margo Hanson. The September 11 terrorist attacks caused her family to go back to their home in the United States. She moved to San Diego with her family, where she attended the regular high school for one week. Due to the post-9/11 turmoil in the U.S., her schoolmates did not welcome her kindly She stated that the return was not easy: "I hated it. The first day I went to school I was called as a "whore" and someone said that they believed that my father had financed terrorist activities. I knew from the beginning that no one would ever wish to be my acquaintance. I experienced panic attacks in the first year I was here."
