 Whitney Wolfe Herd began working for Tinder shortly after graduating from college. Many times have been told the account of Whitney Wolfe Herd's crash burn experience with Tinder and her deportation amid claims she was discriminated against for being a woman. After she quit Tinder, she founded her own dating app, Bumble, in 2014. Now, the app in which women make the first move is preparing for its initial public offering as early as 2021 and reports say the company is seeking a valuation between $6 billion to $8 billion. Wolfe Herd, at 31 is chief executive officer of Bumble and the parent company, and in that position, is leading the IPO. The company is looking for an underwriter in the moment of writing. However, Wolfe Herd has 100 million users and growing. Her father Michael is a property developer and Jewish. The mother Kelly is a homemaker and Catholic. She began to become a feminist at an early age, after she noticed and was dissatisfied with the way that dating culture in Utah relied on men to make the first decision.
