Mary Lucy Denise Henner was born on the 6th of April 1952, in Chicago to Loretta Denise and Joseph. When she was a young adult she attended the University of Chicago.While she was still in college, Henner began her professional acting career on stage. In 1971, she portrayed the part of Marty in the musical "Grease." In the years following, Henner appeared in many Broadway productions such as "Over Here!" as well as revivals of "Pal Joey" and "Chicago. Henner was also a notable voice actor during the 90s, when she voiced Veronica Vreeland in "Batman: The animated Series".
