Kurou Sakuragawa

 When he was a kid, he lived in the traditional Japanese home together with his extended family. When he was having dinner with his family, he saw that his siblings and cousins appeared to be collapsed and passed away within a matter of seconds. His grandmother reveals that he had been fed both Kudan and Ningyo meat in order to achieve the Sakuragawa family's aim of creating an individual who could anticipate the future without dying. To see if the food did indeed work, his grandmother submitted him to many experiments which involved cutting him open to the point he either felt no pain or didn't affect him. He was among the few who survived, alongside his cousin Rikka.He lives a fairly normal life in high school, even finding his girlfriend, Saki Yumihara, and later going to the same school as her. He stayed with Rikka at H-university, where he was a second-year student and a student at their law school. He was a second year at H-university and a student at their law school.Eventually, Saki finds out the truth about who she believes he's doing after the two come across the kappa during a visit to the shrine.
