Heather Childers is an American anchor for television. Formerly an anchor on Fox & Friends First, she was with Fox News Channel from 2010 to 2020. She currently anchors American Agenda on Newsmax TV.Heather Star Childers was born on January 7, 1969 (age 53 years old) in Hartsville, South Carolina, United States. She was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated from Myers Park High School in 1987. Childers was a student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte after which she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an undergraduate degree in English.Heather Childers began her professional career at WCNC-TV in Charlotte as reporter and producer in the beginning of 1990s. She worked at WLOS the ABC affiliate located in Asheville, North Carolina she worked for television news stations in Albany as well as Georgia. The station moved to News 14 Carolina in 2002 as an anchor.Childers joined Fox News Channel in November 2010 as a reporter and was promoted to anchor for America's News Headquarters in August 2011. Then, she was an early-morning Fox host.
