Sofia Richie (born August 24, 1998)is an American social media personality, model and fashion designer.She has been featured in advertisements by numerous prominent brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, and Adidas. She is the youngest daughter of singer Lionel Richie and sister of TV personality Nicole Richie.Richie grew up with an affinity for music like her father. She learned to sing at the age of five, and began playing the piano at the age of seven. [6] She occasionally appeared at her father’s shows. She took vocal lessons with Tim Carter (a vocal coach) at the age of fourteen. Joel Madden, her brother-in law and lead vocalist for Good Charlotte was also her studio assistant. She decided to step away from a career in music due to the pressure of performing to her father's stature in the music industry. In 2014, she made a number of appearances in Nicole's reality TV series Candidly Nicole.
