 Joey Lynn King, born July 30, 1999 is an American actress. She gained fame for portraying Ramona Quimby in the comedy film Ramona and Beezus (2010) and has since gained wider recognition for her role as the lead in The Kissing Booth (2018) and its two sequels. King received praise from critics for her starring role in the crime drama The Act series The Act (2019), for which she was nominated for both a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.King was also seen in the movies Battle: Los Angeles (2011), Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), The Conjuring (2013), White House Down (2013), Independence Day: Resurgence (2016), Bullet Train (2022) and The Princess (2022), and the debut season of the FX crime drama black comedy series Fargo.King played the role of the yellow fur ball Katie in the animated feature Horton Hears a Who! (2008). She was also in Quarantine (2008). In 2010, she was a guest star in the show Ghost Whisperer. In two episodes, she was seen as Emily Mason on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
