Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. The majority of her youth listening to classical music Boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic music along with old classical pieces. Ana loves tangos as well drama and opera. When she was 16 years old, she started singing and studying music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began to give her more intense training in singing. She furthered her training in music in the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera choruses and chamber ensembles. After moving from Mexico to America in 2000, she sang for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She's a regular solo performer for private events and parties and performs traditional Latin American Music. The love she has for performing, music, as well as the arts keeps active in community projects in both her capacity as an artist and teacher. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher of The Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, through her sharing her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she will inspire a love, especially in the younger generations in keeping the music alive.
