Wonder Woman, a superhero film that was released in 2017 is inspired by the DC Comics hero of the same name. Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Films, Atlas Entertainment and Cruel and Unusual Films, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is the fourth film of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and is a prequel/spin-off for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). Patty Jenkins directed the film and Allan Heinberg wrote the story. The script was written by Zack Snyder, Jason Fuchs and Heinberg. Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot as the title character. In addition, Robin Wright and Danny Huston are also on the casting. Connie Nielsen and Connie Nielsen are also involved. After her debut in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Wonder Woman is her second live-action live-action production. Wonder Woman is the Amazon princess Diana who seeks to bring peace to World War I. She believes that Ares, an enemy of the Amazons has started the conflict. Ares was informed by Steve Trevor, an American pilot and spy, about the incident. The development of a live-action Wonder Woman film began in 1996 with Ivan Reitman to produce and possibly direct. The project was in developing hell for several years;
