Pictures. The film was directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Allan Heinberg from a story by Heinberg, Zack Snyder and Jason Fuchs, Wonder Woman has Gal Gadot in the title role. She's joined by Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen and Elena Anaya. Following her first appearance in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, this is Wonder Woman's second live-action film in the theater. Wonder Woman is the Amazon princess Diana, who seeks to stop World War I. She believes that Ares, an antagonist of the Amazons, has begun the war.
