Alex Trebek is continuing to be a kind and decent man, even after his grave. The former "Jeopardy!" host's clothes are being donated by the Trebek family as well as "Jeopardy!" To the Doe Fund. The Doe Fund is a charity that provides social assistance, including housing, continuing education, vocational and paid work to Americans who have been prison or have been addicted. 14 suits, 58 dress shirts, 300 ties, and a variety of other clothing items were donated at the suggestion of Trebek's son Matthew. The clothing will be given to men who are in need of interviews as part of The Doe Fund's "Ready Willing and Able" program. The new complex of 50,000 square feet will be a home for seniors who are homeless within the San Fernando Valley. Trebek did not give it as one-time donation. Since the beginning, he's contributed in a financial way to Hope of the Valley. He donated $100,000 to the Hope of the Valley in the month of March, 2020. The money will be used for an North Hollywood complex. When that facility is complete, it will house the "Alex and Jean Trebek Multi-Purpose Room." It will also include 80 beds, bathroom, and laundry facilities.
