 Lucy Verasamy (born 2 August 1980) is a British weather forecaster on ITV Weather, ITV Racing and ITV's Good Morning Britain.Verasamy was born in King's Lynn, Norfolk, and went to Silfield Primary School in Wymondham, Framlingham College Junior School in Suffolk and King Edward VII School in King's Lynn, where she was a student at the A-level in geography. She graduated with the BSc (Hons) degree in geography at Brunel University in 2001.After graduation, Verasamy trained and worked as a meteorologist for the Press Association's weather centre (Later changed its name to Meteogroup the largest private weather company) which was responsible for writing global and national weather forecasts for radio, TV and newspapers. After completing an internship in the Sky Weather Centre before becoming a weather forecaster Verasamy became a part of Sky and was appointed the regular weather host on the Sky News breakfast show Sunrise. Sky News launched a Climate Clinic and Ask Lucy feature in 2007 as part of its Green Britain campaign.
