Jeff Bezos

 Jeff Bezos is an American businessman, philanthropist and space explorer who is probably most well-known for the creation of Amazon.com. Jeff Bezos is the founder of the company, its chief executive officer, chairman and president of the board at Amazon.com. The company's founder first broke the record of Bill Gates in terms of wealth in July of 2017. Between the end of October 2017 to January 20,21, he was the richest person on the planet. He held more than 80 million Amazon shares at the height of his wealth. In the agreement to divorce in April with MacKenzie Bezos, Jeff transferred 19.7 million shares to his ex-wife. At the time of the transfer, the shares were worth $36 billion. Jeff's net worth fluctuated from $150 billion to $114 billion following the settlement. Jeff was also an early pre-IPO investor of Google.com and has around $1 billion of shares in the company now known as Alphabet Inc.This was prior to his divorce so he still held the equivalent of 80 million shares. At that valuation Jeff's net worth was the all-time record of $170 billion.
